THE GRAND OPEN!

We are thrilled to celebrate the much anticipated grand opening of The Great Bungee Company on May 15th, 2026 at 1 pm at our new jump site in the Old Standard quarry in Harpers Ferry. There will be a press conference and the ceremonial first jump, followed by the opportunity for those invited to try the 150 foot plunge themselves. This is a very exclusive VIP and media event so PLEASE RSVP as soon as possible as space is limited.

The EVENT SCHEDULE

Please be on time on May 15th as the event will be Live streamed. You must arrive at the arrival time to not disrupt the event.

12:30 PM Arrival of Guests and Parking

1:00 PM Press Conference Begins
Hear from speakers instrumental to the opening of the project as well as officials and VIPs .

1:30 PM The First Ceremonial Jump
The greatest moment and the greatest honour at the grand open event will go to the winner of the Be The First charity auction. Bid now!

1:45 PM Interviews and Photo Ops
The opportunity for interviews with key project stake holders and local VIPS as well as photo ops.

2:00 PM VIP and Media Jumps (group 1)
After the Be The First auction winner and their guest have jumped we will begin with the VIP and media members who wish to jump a jump list will be send out before hand. Spots will be limited so RSVP quickly.

3:00 PM VIP and Media Jumps (group 2)

EVENT NEED TO KNOW

Please contact us with any questions but please take a read of the below details first.

  • You must have been invited by The Great Bungee Company to attend and you must RSVP.

  • Your invitation should have been delivered to your email address. Contact us if you have not received.

  • Each individual in your party must individually will out the RSVP.

  • If you did not receive a notification from TGBC that we were expecting you to have a plus 1 then your invite is for just you. Space is limited.

  • VIP and Media jumps will come AFTER the auction winner and are free.

  • Please only take 1 vehicle. Parking is onsite.

  • When you park, personnel will be there to greet and show you to the press conference, but it will be obvious.
