HISTORY
MORE THAN 3 DECADES OF BUNGEE JUMPING AROUND THE WORLD
GREAT CANADIAN BUNGEE (1992)
Where it all started! The cantilevered tower, although new to the US, is not new to North America. Great Canadian Bungee, The Great Canadian Bungee’s counterpart north of the border, has operated an identical structure for more than 3 decades. Great Canadian Bungee was founded in 1990 by President, Matthew Lawrence and has become a beacon of excellence in the bungee jumping world for its safety practices, operations programs and industry-leading equipment.
BUngeE CONSULTANTS INTERNATIONAL (1993)
Bungee Consultants was formed in 1993 and was committed to providing services to companies around the world in the bungee jumping industry. Nick Steers joined the team in 2000 and since that time, the team rode a wave of success and exponential company growth through the next 20 years. This growth saw the company branch into other areas, including stunt engineering, training courses for startup companies, equipment sales and manufacturing and safety standard authorship. This led to the formation of Bungee Consultants which consults around the world to this day.
THE GREAT BUNGEE COMPANY (2024)
Since 2000, Matt and Nick leveraged Bungee Consultants International to conduct projects in countries around the world. Most of these projects were enabling entrepreneurs to live their dreams of getting into bungee jumping with professional help. It was during this time that BCI became a team of full-time bungee and zipline professionals with their sights set on the next great region for a company-owned operation. It was with the help and guidance of Matt Knott and River Riders that the team was introduced to the Old Standard Quarry and the new company was born.
THE SITE (2025)
